Worship is a vital part of being connected. Through worship, we connect with God as we offer praise and prayers. Through worship, we serve through giving to the work of God’s Kingdom and extending love to others. Likewise, we connect to God as we attend to the Sacraments and the preached word of God. Through worship, we also connect to one another. Human frailty is common to all of us. Through collective worship, we find mutual support in addressing the needs of our shared humanity and together we find help through faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
During a worship service at St. Paul’s, expect to find choir music, vocal and instrumental soloists and the singing of a variety of both traditional and contemporary praise music led by gifted individuals. Each component of the service is purposely designed to enable us to make the connections to God and one another, which we deem important through worship.
If you sing or play an instrument and you would like to contribute your gifts to our worship team, please email Paul Leary at email@example.com for details. If you are interested in performing for the prelude, offertory, or special music portion of our service, please contact Janelle Murphy at firstname.lastname@example.org. Last, if you would like to join the choir, please contact Dan Murphy at email@example.com.
